It’s funny how things twist.  This wasn’t the direction I was planning to go with the strip.

When I sent out the original previews of “Guarding the Knee,” a couple of my favorite “fans” both made the same assumption about what sort of strip Lisa would be.

After considering their input, I thought it might be fun to continue the exposition of Lisa, and the world she inhabits, in a sort of fantasy-adventure, inaction comic.  So, Steve, Adam, here’s a new story line about one of Lisa’s adventures as a player character, told from the tavern.

Lisa is going to be a very different sort of comic, eventually.  I have to do a transition story to get it there.  I’ve got some of it drawn, but I’m not “excited” about that story, yet.

I’m going to try to keep to around one comic update per week for now (to build a buffer and keep a pace commensurate with how much money I make in producing free web comics with [currently] no merchandising tie-ins).  Blog entries more often, so feel free to check back, as often as you like, just don’t get discouraged if comics are less frequent that I’d like them to be.

You might notice more of the player characters is visible now.  I didn’t lower the bar. I raised their stools.
