Guess Who?
So, how do you know I am really back without a timely movie review?
You don’t, so we rented “Guess Who?” with Ashton Kutcher and Bernie Mac last night. Normally I don’t care for Bernie, and while I like Ashton as a supporting character and comedic talent, I don’t see the male lead qualities that others seem to. Because of these pre-judgments, I was pleasantly surprised by this film.
As a remake of “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?” it isn’t a terribly ground breaking movie. In exploring racial tensions and prejudices it isn’t terribly provocative. It is, however, very amusing.
I’d recommend renting it, and watching it with a woman… or a man, if you are a woman… or a homosexual… or again with a woman if you are a lesbian… You know what? See it with whatever it is that you take on dates.
